Player Registration for Fall 2009 Season
Early Bird Registration ends on Wednesday evening, June 10.
Believe it or not, registration for another soccer season is here!
For 2009, we have changed the registration process to eliminate a lot of administrative time and mailings. All communication will be through e-mail and this website, in conjunction with the eAYSO website.
***Please remember that AYSO in Manhattan/Hermosa Beach is an “all volunteer” organization***
We need your time to help manage the teams, games, and divisions! If you haven’t already found a way to get involved, please consider volunteering your time as a:
- Coach or Assistant Coach
- Referee
- Division Commissioner
- Registration Volunteer
If you have a little bit of time and want to help, but don’t know how to get involved….consider helping with the Registration process! We have over 3,600 players to register and place on teams. The good news is….it’s all over by September 15th! Please contact the Registrar at Registrar_region_18@ayso18.org to find out more information.

§ Registration for the 2009-2010 season from now until Wednesday, June 10th
§ Everyone is an “Early Bird” if you register by June 10th!
§ After June 10th – Registration will be closed.
Trying to Register for Region 18 after Wednesday, June 10th?
§ If division commissioners have enough volunteers to field more teams, registration will be re-opened to accept “late” registrations; NOTE – opening will first be filled by players whose parents volunteer to Coach, Referee, for fill Board/Region Management positions

How do you register a player for Region 18?
§ You must complete registration for your players on e-AYSO. For returning players, this will be a very easy process. For new players, it will take 5 extra minutes to fill out some basic information.

§ For administrative ease, please remember to pay registration fees by credit card through this website.
§ Your player’s registration application will not be accepted until we receive payment.
§ FOR NEW PLAYERS IN REGION 18: You will need to bring proof of age to one of the walk-in registration events so we can validate your player’s birthdate and age. Please plan to bring an official birth certificate to a walk-in registration event.
Can I request a specific coach or teammates?
I'm sorry - we cannot accommodate specific requests. Division commissioners try their best to put together teams within schools. One of the benefits of participating in AYSO is to get to know others in your community. We would appreciate your understanding.
I’ve completed the online registration – what’s next?
§ If your registration is accepted…
o You will receive a confirmation e-mail within a week of registering online
o Consider volunteering (if you haven’t already) – we will be hosting coach and referee training sessions as needed during the summer, in anticipation of a great Fall season!
§ If there are issues with your registration…
o The Registrar will contact you by e-mail to resolve the issue
o If not resolved by Wednesday, June 10th, the player’s registration will be considered late and will be placed on a team where space is available
Is that it? What’s next?
§ Teams will be formed later this summer by division commissioners
§ In late August/early September, you will hear from the coach(es) of the team(s) for your player(s)
§ You will be asked to sign two copies of the player registration form at the first team meeting. You must sign these forms to be considered able to play and to receive uniforms.
§ Practices will start after Labor Day
§ First games will be played the weekend of September 12th
