Parents, we need your help to make this program successful. AYSO is an all-volunteer organization. We need your time to help manage and support the teams, games, fields and each division. If you haven’t already found a way to get involved, please think about helping the players by volunteering.

While all Volunteer positions are important, we are in particular need of Referees. If you are interested in becoming a Coach or Assistant Coach, please be aware that you must also attend "age appropriate" coach training classes to become certified. Once we have determined our training schedules for these positions, we will announce those classes via email and on the website at

Registration Process

Initial Tasks
To submit your player application, please go to and complete your 2016-17 registration.

  • For returning players, click on Application for a returning player.

  • For new players, click on Application for a new player. It will take an extra five minutes to fill out some basic information and we will require a verification of the player’s birth date (either a copy of the player’s birth certificate or passport) submitted to the Region 18 Registrar. We cannot complete your new players application, UNTIL the players date of birth (DOB) is verified.

Deadline for player applications is July 24, 2016. Any player application after this date will be put on a wait list and placement on a team will not be guaranteed BUT will be subject to the space availability on a team in their respective division.

Once you have submitted your player application(s), please also register yourself as a volunteer. You must register as a volunteer in order to be a team coach/assistant coach, referee official or serve in any other volunteer position. You must “re-register” (submit your Volunteer application) annually, so even if you registered as a volunteer last season, you have to register again for each new season.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I Request a Specific Coach or Teammates?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate specific requests. AYSO mandates Balanced Teams. For U8 and above, teams are formed through a draft process. For U5 and U6, the Division Commissioners consider each player’s school when forming teams, so that your player is likely to be placed on a team with schoolmates. Volunteering yourself as a Coach will give you some consideration in any team formation.

How do I confirm my Online Registration?
Be sure to pay the player fees on by credit card. If your registration was completed properly or is incomplete, you will receive a confirmation email, usually that same day.

What if there are any issues with my registration?
The Region 18 Registrar will contact you by e-mail to resolve any problems or issues. You may always contact the Registrar at you have questions.

What’s next?
Teams will be formed in mid to late August. You will hear from your player’s coach by late August.
