Why Beach Cup?
The Division Commissioners and Board of Directors have unanimously and enthusiastically decided to continue a Pool Play format playoff. Pool Play style tournaments are the norm in the soccer world from The World Cup to Club Soccer tournaments to AYSO-Sanctioned Open Tournaments and Playoffs.
Pool Play means greater opportunities for your team and more certainty with your schedule. All teams in the Beach Cup will play a minimum of 3 games. And all games are pre-scheduled so you’ll know ahead of time when and where your next game will be.
The Pool Standings are based on a 10 point system.
WIN = + 6 points
TIE = + 3 points
LOSS = 0 points
GOAL = + 1 point (one point per goal scored, up to three per game, win or lose)
SHUTOUT = + 1 point (0-0 tie constitutes as a shutout)
RED CARD = -2 point deduction for each red card and ejection of coach or assistant coach
FORFEIT= Game will be scored a 2-0 loss. Winner receives points
REFEREE POINT ADJUSTMENT = (-1, -2, -3) point deduction on all Pool Play games depending on Ref Point Participation - link to program details here.

Even a Loss or a Tie is important because your team can still earn points by scoring goals.
The Beach Cup begins Nov 13th for all divisions. There are no games Nov 21-28 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. However, there ARE GAMES on Saturday November 20th. We know people sometimes go away early for Thanksgiving, but we need to play this day due to logistics.
The Beach Cup will culminate on...
Championship Saturday, December 11th
Game Times to be posted soon!

We hope the 2021 Beach Cup will offer a tremendous experience for all participating teams.
Best of Luck!
