AYSO Region 18 College Scholarship Program
AYSO Region 18 is proud to offer college scholarships to graduating high school seniors that have been active volunteers for AYSO as youth referees, youth assistant coaches, or other significant volunteer positions within AYSO. Playing experience and academic achievements are NOT prerequisites or requirements to obtain these scholarships. Volunteerism and community service is!
AYSO Region 18 College Scholarship Program Purpose
Each year, upon continuing approval by our board of Directors, AYSO Region 18 will award college scholarships to one or more applicants totaling up to $2500 to high school seniors who have given back to the region as volunteers.
Who May Apply:
Any college-bound high school senior who:
- Has given demonstrable service to Region 18 in the form of refereeing, coaching, assistant coaching, support on Opening or Closing Day, or volunteering in other capacity;
- Has applied to a 2- or 4-year college or university, enrollment to commence in the Fall following high school graduation.
How to Apply:

- Complete the Application, including the required essay;
- E-mail the completed Application to [email protected] by April 1, 2023.
Selection Process:
The Scholarship Committee will review all applications. All applicants will be considered and judged without regard to race, creed, sex, sexual orientation, religion, national origin, or financial need.
